People & Culture Executive

To take a proactive approach in supporting Organic and its people to grow and develop in line with the business needs. Supporting across the People sphere, including employee experience, owning the recruitment process, and taking an active role in employee wellbeing.

Main Purpose and Scope

To take a proactive approach in supporting Organic and its people to grow and develop in line with the business needs. Supporting across the People sphere, including employee experience, owning the recruitment process, and taking an active role in employee wellbeing.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent
    1. Recruitment – Permanent
      • To be able to identify relevant talent and build a network/talentpool of potential hires
      • To work with line managers to monitor job descriptions
    2. Recruitment – Freelancers/Contractors
      • To identify and build relationships with freelancers/contractors across all disciplines
      • To maintain freelancer/contractor database with contact details, rates and expertise 
      • To work with Heads of Departments to share profiles and portfolios to continue to grow network
      • Ensure contracts and NDA’s are in place for those supporting
    3. To have a good knowledge of average salaries for different disciplines
  1. Employee Engagement
    • To drive and encourage employee engagement across the business. This could include:
      • Socials
      • Team bonding
      • Games/Quizzes/Drinks
      • Engaging meetings
      • Training
    • Speak with the team to understand what they enjoy, don’t enjoy, find most engaging
    • Research into creative ways that Organic can do more for its people
    • Monitor Organics current benefits package and identify additional offerings where needed.
  1. Wellbeing
    • To be Organics go-to for all things wellbeing including emotional wellbeing and mental health
    • Take a proactive approach in monitoring wellbeing of Organic employees
    • To identify ways in which Organic can increase support for wellbeing of its employees
  1. Office & Environment
    • Take an active role in Organics B Corps accreditation status
    • Look for exciting ways to better how we manage our social and environmental impact
    • Support the team with actively looking to decrease our carbon footprint
    • Support general running of the office
    • Keep relevant budgets up to date for purchases and expenses
  1. Training & Development
    • To take a proactive approach in encouraging professional development amongst the team
    • To liaise with individuals and line managers to identify training needs and also relevant hard skill training courses
