Objective

To help keep the nation safe by raising awareness of the dangers of unsafe gas appliances and encouraging consumers to have their gas appliances checked every year by a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer. Gas Safety Week 2019 focused on increasing awareness of how to address the gas safety needs of the most vulnerable – Young families; Tenants; Landlords; Carers; Pet owners; DIYers.

Solution

Integrated paid media strategy focussing on awareness. Test and learn campaigns across seven different channels – Paid Search, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google Display Network, Taboola & Spotify.

Results

  • 25 million impressions across all channels during the week (primary objective – awareness).
  • Delivered double the forecasted impressions for the budget.
  • Paid Search, Spotify and Taboola all achieved above benchmark CTR (secondary objective – clicks to site).
