Here at Organic we believe in doing good as well as being good. We take pride in our organisation and the good we do. Our values lie within Digital for Good, this embodies our brand purpose and the steps we take to create a lasting impact for our clients and in the digital community.

As we continue to create lasting relationships with our customers, we also want to provide an enjoyable and sustainable working environment for our employees. Our vision is a ‘better world through digital’, by working with brands that have similar values we create positive digital experiences to improve their customers’ lives. We use best practices to build digital products and experiences that work seamlessly for the end user as well as instilling positive mindsets within our clients, empowering them and using our expertise to improve the digital world around us.

To continue with our positive impact we are Introducing our new Digital For Good Series. Each month we will be releasing what digital means for those that work at Organic. This is a chance for our community to share their passion for Digital and the good they want to achieve.

George’s thoughts on digital

We kick off the series with a brand new starter George who will be joining our Paid Media Team as Paid Media Specialist.

Joining Organic brings forth many questions about digital and what it means to me. Even more so since the pandemic we have seen an influx of those switching to online. The way we as a people consume entertainment, the way we work, the way we communicate, all now stems from a digital space. Digital is now the future and the outcomes will continue to be extraordinary. For me it’s important to contribute to charitable organisations where possible and you can do this through Easyfundraising, for online shoppers who can donate whilst purchasing. A percentage of the product payment is donated by the retailer to various organisations across the UK. A simple but effective way that digital creates good.

Billy’s thoughts on digital

“For starters, it’s about social interaction – keeping in touch with friends, family members and generally making plans”, says Billy. “Digital also allows me to connect with people wherever they are in the world, via long-distance video calls and virtual networking.

“There’s the educational side of things: as someone who finds it hard to pick up a book and read, online resources offer me a more visual and easily digestible way of absorbing information. And from a career perspective, I really enjoy working in the digital sphere; it’s helped my personal development.

“I also love how digital makes sharing moments and accessing info almost instantaneous. And then there’s gaming: I grew up playing computer games and interacting with friends through that.

“Although digital means all sorts of positive things to me, that’s not to say I don’t enjoy detoxing every now and then. Not using my phone for a few days helps me recalibrate and refresh my priorities.

Robyn’s thoughts on digital

“The first thing I think of is the ability to connect with so many people,” says Robyn. “From keeping in contact with people you don’t see often and organising meetups with friends to speaking to individuals with similar interests, digital communications are broad and far-reaching.

“Another big part of what digital means to me? Keeping up to date with what’s going on in the world. Digital can do a lot of good in that respect – for example, via online fundraisers on social media channels like Facebook. Activities like that are particularly important at the moment, with pages being set up to help raise money for the situation in Ukraine.

“Digital can do good in other ways too, by giving access to information – incredibly relevant at the moment, allowing people to see events happening near them, so they can show their support for Ukraine.”
