Organic have a long-established relationship with Argos as their retained search agency, and we’re now working with the wider Sainsbury’s Group which includes Sainsbury’s Groceries, Tu and Habitat.

Problem

Due to this incredible growth our approach to project management needed to evolve and be scaled.

The challenges we faced included:

  • Effective planning and management of workloads across four brands
  • Ability to focus on mapping and coordinating resources
  • The need to ensure that all work undertaken was aligned with the overall brand strategy

Solution

Having established our Project Management Office in 2020 we were able to clearly define a Project Manager role to:

  • Refine our processes 
  • Easily scale up the department
  • Bring more of the Sainsbury’s Group brands on board 
  • Successfully develop a tailored and scaled-up project management solution

Results

  • BAU, ad hoc and project work are now channeled within one stream
  • Achieved transparency regarding what work is being undertaken and how it’s aligned with strategy
  • An understanding of sprint velocity to aid planning and productivity
