Paid Media Specialist

To be Organic’s ‘go-to’ for Paid workstreams, as well as playing an integral part in the success of the Paid team. This could include owning the Paid relationships for smaller clients and maintaining expert knowledge status in all things Paid.

Main purpose and scope

To bring energy, passion and enthusiasm to the Paid Media team, ensuring we are delivering the best work possible for our clients, whilst supporting the continued growth of the department across strategic decisions, team development and constant improvements. 

Duties and key responsibilities

  • Responding to client briefs, leading and building strategies that will best achieve the goals of the campaign
  • Setting up campaigns across paid media channels such as Google Ads, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin, etc.
  • Analyse performance throughout business-as-usual and finite campaigns, suggesting and implementing improvements and changes to help reach targets
  • Opportunity to support, coach and mentor more junior members of the Paid Media team
  • Constantly seeking innovative ways for growth and improvements on client accounts
  • Prepare reports and lead client calls, discussing the results from campaigns and agreeing next steps
  • Effectively manage and prioritise workloads, negotiate deadlines and liaise with wider Account & Project Management teams
  • Keeping up to date with all developments and updates across the paid media sphere
  • Supporting the growth of the Paid Media team and wider agency with pitches, proposals and thought leadership pieces (articles, blogs, webinars etc)

Experience required

  • 3+ years experience of managing significant paid media campaign budgets, including search, display, Google Shopping and social
  • A track record of running high performance paid media campaigns
  • Commercial awareness
  • First-class grammar and communication skills
  • A comprehensive understanding of paid media strategy and the marketing funnel
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Up-to-the-minute knowledge of Google Ads best practice including automated bid strategies

Additional beneficial experience 

  • Excel/Google Sheets skills
  • Basic knowledge of tracking across the major ad platforms and GA4 with Google Tag Manager
  • Google Looker Studio experience
  • Working knowledge of Funnel.
