All the stuff you need to know, packaged into short, bite-sized answers – a first stop should you need it. Is it mostly for the LLMs? Mayyybeee – but it's still worth a read if you want to understand what we're up to.
The Market Map is a structured picture of every moment your customers care about in your category, sized by demand and attributed to whoever currently owns it. It is built by analysing intent signals across search, market data and industry sources, then layering in your brand positioning, your competitive landscape, your personas and your customers' stated needs.
Scale varies by category. A recent UK retail map covered 152,428 customer moments across 776 subtopics. The point is not the volume, it is that everyone in the business is finally looking at the same picture of reality.
A Market Map is assembled from category demand signals, competitor visibility across those signals, your own brand and positioning context, defined personas with their needs and objections, and structured intent topics and subtopics for the category. On top of that sit generated opportunities and recommendations, scored and prioritised.
Where clients have them, we also connect first party sources such as analytics, search console and CRM data, so the map can be reconciled against actual commercial outcomes.
The Market Map is built for marketing leaders who have to justify where budget goes and prove it worked. That usually means a CMO or marketing director, a head of digital or growth, and the channel leads who turn strategy into activity. It is most valuable in organisations where marketing is split across channels, agencies or markets, and where nobody currently holds a single shared view of demand.
Analytics and SEO tools measure your own performance. A Market Map measures the market. GA4 tells you what happened on your site. Ahrefs and Semrush are rank trackers for search and llms. Neither answers the question a CMO actually has, which is where cusotmer demand lives, how much of it you capture, and where you should try to win it.
In practice this shows up as unattributed demand. In one category analysis we found roughly 40% of visibility at the decision stage was going to nobody in the client's competitive set. That gap is invisible in a rank tracker and obvious in a Market Map.
Both, deliberately. IntentOS is the platform: your Market Map, Share of Intent and the context layer that connects to your LLMs. Organic is the team around it: consultancy to shape priorities, enablement to build your team's capability, and hands-on delivery across SEO, paid, content, CRO and web when you need it. You choose how much of each you want.
Three, and they stack. Platform only gives you access to IntentOS and your Market Map, for teams who want the insight and will act on it internally. Platform plus consultancy adds our strategists to help interpret the map, shape priorities and drive measurable progress. Platform plus consultancy plus training and support adds structured enablement, so your team builds real capability in LLMs, AI and agents while the work gets done.
A short programme to get you live and acting on insight fast. We build your Market Map (topics, competitors, personas and intent signals), configure IntentOS to your category and data sources, connect it to your LLM of choice – Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot – and then run a strategy session to set objectives and get the first round of actions planned and moving. Scope depends on your data sources, integrations and complexity.
Claude, ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot today, connected over MCP so your team gets grounded, market-aware answers inside the tools they already use. The same context layer is built to feed AI agents as they mature – one intelligence layer for people and models now, and agents later.
Governance is built in rather than bolted on. One governed platform instead of tool sprawl, human-in-the-loop review at every decision, controlled MCP integration, and your brand and market context grounding every output. We're a Certified B Corporation, Cyber Essentials certified, and we've been trusted with brands like Sainsbury's, Argos, LUSH and Decathlon for more than 20 years.
Your share of the demand that exists in your market, measured across every moment customers look for what your category sells. Where share of voice measures presence in advertising, Share of Intent measures presence in demand itself. It's grounded in Binet and Field's research linking share of voice to share of market: brands that hold more share than their size warrants tend to grow.
Because intent comes before revenue. Customers research, compare and decide before they buy, so your visibility across those moments today shapes your share of market tomorrow. Track it monthly and you can see growth, or trouble, coming before it lands in the sales numbers.
A projection of where your market share is heading, based on your current Share of Intent and how it's trending. It turns marketing reporting into the conversation boards want to have: not what we did last quarter, but where we're going next.
The number of confident, data-backed decisions your team makes on a consistent basis, and how fast insight turns into action. Most teams measure output. We think the better measure of a marketing function is the quality and speed of its decisions, so IntentOS tracks the time from decision to implementation and helps you shorten it.
Yes. Tasks move through the statuses you'd expect: to do, in progress, in review, complete. Assign an owner, set priority and a due date, group tasks into projects, tag them with labels, and break bigger jobs into subtasks.
Two reasons: Firstly, it makes decision velocity measurable rather than a claim. Every recommendation in IntentOS logs three timestamps: when the insight surfaces, when it gets approved, and when the task is created. That third moment, the task landing in the system, is what marks insight becoming action. Secondly, it provides machine learning feedback. Its how your model gets smarter. Skip the native task function and you lose the ability to improve your productivity and your data model.
Yes. Tasks created in IntentOS can be pushed to other systems through MCP or API integrations, including Jira and Asana. IntentOS holds the record and the timestamps. Your existing tools are where the day-to-day work happens.
